What Happened In This Case?
We have learned that a woman driving a Mercedes was killed on May 18 when a man ran a red light and slammed into her vehicle in the morning hours. The man who ran the red light was also killed in the crash.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department was called to the intersection of Luna Road and Highway 395 where they discovered a Honda Civic and a Mercedes Benz involved in the incident. They discovered that the driver of the Honda had rear-ended another car and was fleeing from that incident when he ran the red light causing the fatality.
Another passenger in the Mercedes was severely injured and was airlifted to a nearby trauma center.
