Long Beach police say that a red Toyota Prius was heading south on Lemon Avenue when it hit a gray Toyota Corolla that was heading through an intersection. They say it appears that the driver of the Prius ran a stop sign.
After the collision, the Corolla smashed into a fire hydrant and hit a light pole before hitting a business. While we are thankful that there were no serious injuries or fatalities in this accident, we know it could have been much worse.
